Bug Hunt - Aethra System - Escaped Experiments, Kirs Station

"Listen up, now.  We're jumping for Aethra in one hour.  Kirs Station requested Unity assistance.  Apparently, an agricultural pest that they were researching got loose and started to multiply."

"So we gotta fly in, and kill them all.  Experiment over. Any question?"

"So there's no Unity teams there?"

"Kevin, if there were other Unity Patrols in the system, would we be going in?  Think, Kevin, Think."

"I think I prefer being called 'Kid'"

"Listen, 'Kevin', when you get out, you can call yourself dumpling.  Until then, you're 'Kevin'.  Now, get your butt on the ship."

On the way, the team reviewed the station plans.  "So, we go in on the docking bay.  Kevin and I will head towards contact point 3, the power generator, check it out and get it powered up.  Dude, you will take Fire Team Charlie Ox to contact points 4 and 5 - once power is up, activate the locks, so we can then get into the lower depths.

"What are we looking at?"  Dude asked.

"Something called Strangle Worms.  Agricultural pests, but they have some pharmaceutical benefits.  So the station was - get this - trying to breed them.  And apparently, they breed.  So now, they're all over the place."

The team pounded its way through the Strangle Worms, using their supply of grenades to great effect.  They powered up the emergency generator (Scout objective) and engaged the two override controls (Beacon objectives), then were evac'd back to the base.
